Their name, age and the things they love right now, plus a clear photo. Their character will look as they do in it, so pick one that shows them as you'd like them in the book.
Step 2
Approve their character
Within 24 hours we email their watercolour character. Approve it, or send another photo. Not right after two tries? Full refund.
Step 3
We write, check and print
We write and illustrate all 30 pages around their world. Every page is checked, then it's printed as a hardback and posted to you.

How does a personalised storybook from a photo work?
You tell us your child's name, age and interests and upload a clear photo. We turn them into a watercolour character, which you approve, then write and illustrate a 30-page story around the things they love. Every page is checked before it's printed as a hardback, and a digital copy is included to share with family.
What happens to my child's photo?
It's used only to create their character and is deleted within 24 hours of you approving it, or when an order is cancelled. We never use it for anything else, and it's never used to train AI.
Is AI used to make the books?
Yes. AI helps us write and illustrate each story around your answers. Then every page and every picture is checked before it goes to print.
What age is it for?
Ages 1 to 10. The story's length and language are matched to their age, from short read-aloud lines for toddlers to a fuller adventure for confident readers.
How long does delivery take?
Their character arrives within 24 hours. Once you approve it, the book is printed within 3 working days and UK delivery takes 3 to 5 working days, or 1 to 2 with express.
When do I need to order for Christmas?
By 15 December for standard delivery, or 18 December with express.
What if I'm not happy with it?
Love their character, or your money back. You approve it before anything is printed; if it isn't quite them, send another photo, and if it still isn't right after two tries we refund you in full. If anything is wrong with the printed book, we reprint it free.
